Nokia Waiting for AAPL to Set IPhone5

I'm just majorly surprised at how any company could not have thought of the consequences of doing something so foolish. It almost looks like a Hail Mary play that completely detracts from the fact that it is a promising phone. I think the drop to 8MP from the ingrained 41MP also hurt it. But most of all it was simply doing this presentation at all without giving the most basic information of where, when, how much, who, etc.

I've often heard Steve Jobs praised as a great speaker. I don't really think so. He's good, not fantastic, and the products sell themselves. But with rivals like this, I guess anyone would be a fantastic presenter by comparison. The lack of the most crucial information reminds me of a student coming up to present to the class who hadn't done his homework on the most basic information with fingers crossed. Or Attorney Lionel Hutz without having prepared any evidence. Nokia can ill afford to screw up on even the most basic psychology, presentation, content delivery now.

I can't believe MSFT's partnership couldn't have hired presentation/ marketing coaches to do a dry run. I've read Jobs prepares down to the minutest detail. Surely these companies who can ill afford a misstep should have done the same.
