As expected, Samsung and Lg announced they are even more committed now to Android and might just flirt with MSFT, but still making some Smartphones for them. So they are MSFT casual lovers now. In about 1 months we will see on the stores lots of (troubled) OEMs, mostly hybrids ultra book-tablet, and some tablets on the shelves, and adding both, probably 80% will be sold with Windows 8 and windows Rt. And in 4 months we will see Windows 8 with Windows7 (which has sold already 600 million licenses). As I sad before, businesses are far from being early adopters. They use Windows and office (300 million aprox still use XP. MSFT will stop giving support for XP in two years).
So there you have it. A Bunch a troubled OEMs that need MSFT to get people and businesses to buy new hardware, and, on the mobile side: Nokia and maybe HTC (which will use nokia maps, by the way)
If anyone thinks IOs, or Android are going to work and sync nicely on Windows, think again. Windows will make sure that does not happen. It will sync perfectly with Nokia and to a less degree, with HTC.
Nokia maps are free to a certain extend. Nokia indoor-mapping will not be free for HTC, a company that holds a ridiculous amount of patents. On any patent wars everyone ends up paying Nokia, even Apple as you know.
"The overall lack of quality patents within the HTC portfolio coupled with the 2010 cross-licensing agreement that Nokia came to with Motorola which precludes Google from transferring the numerous patents it recently acquired from Motorola Mobility in last year's $12.5 billion acquisition, infers that HTC has little chance of successfully fighting the Nokia infringement claims"
haha.. diana to keep your analogy.. let's hope msft stop sleeping around with other ugly btches and sticks to his beautiful wife - nok :)
the rest - agreed with u - msft sees that nok is committed to them but with blmr in charge.. that guy only knows to fk/horse aruond
it's the typical dude a woman doesn't need (imo - but again, not a woman and don't pretend i understand them.. :)
overall good news, hpfully the price will move up soon to support your assertions
