I saw a You Tube video showing the Lumia 920 being very resistant to scratching by keys or tapping with a rubber mallet. Think of how much people would save if they don't need a case for everyday use. Besides the bright Lumia colors are so cool, who would want to cover them up? I now regret my Iphone, purchased in Sept, hoping I can earn enough of NOK to give my iphone away and get a 920!
How do other Lumia 920 users feel about the phone's exterior? All longs should get a 920 to promote the phone if they can afford to.
I did not put a cover on mine, or a screen cover. I had done it with my 900, but it really is not neccessary, the phone is tough. it is a little slick, though, if you find it to be too slippery you might want to add something to get some traction.
I hope they make a tablet, I have a Surface and I can't help but think that if I had one that was a lot more like my 920 I'd like it better.
Lumia 920 is indeed scratch-resistant, including the polycarbonate. On normal plastic material, when you look at the surface under a shining light you can see some swirls. This is due to your wiping off the dust and the fine grits act like a sandpaper. It's almost 2mos now and I see no swirl on my L920.
After 2 months of constant use, not a scratch or blemish on screen. I believe the rubber case inferred is same as I purchased on internet. Thin durable rubber that does not hamper function.
Does not cover any of screen. Does assist when in tougher environments. Not.obtrusive like iPhone case.
