920 was a deal with At&T. Verizon has 822 just like 920 different camera and a little smaller same processor. The camera is better than both the Iphone 4 & 5. The gps pinpointed my car parked next to a dumpster and I could see the actual dumpster in street view. Turn by turn voice navigation with a map program owned by Nokia that does not send you into a river or forest. Tmobile has their own lumia version. CNBC should correct to say carriers giving old lumia version phones away for free. I am long qqq hold app, Nok & Msft.
I am not interested in typing every feature of the phone. I actually have the phone and it is a great experience. I purchased other Nokias for gifts. The 822 is on the same level as the 920. My camera is equal, fits better in one hand use.
There are also at least 50 920's on Amazon being sold for $650.00 to $795.00 unlocked. Iphone - $49.00. What difference does the carrier discount make anyway to Nokia. The phone is in demand overseas as I tried to by 920's on Amazon. By the Amazon is not 1 price for those who do not know. I actually used the prior to Christmas to buy phones for workers overseas. Anyone can sell a phone on Amazon. Any 1 man operation can sell cell phone plans. I entered this seedy market trying to buy an unlocked phones and found out just how it really is. Places that look like they are selling drugs at the same time. One seller wanted to meet me in a gas station parking lot. So the guy that posted $39.00 at Amazon is just one of 50, maybe 100 sellers. There is no doubt that people overseas want the Nokias. I just went through one of the oddest experiences of my life trying to buy them Nokias on the Amazon website that would work overseas (unlocked) w/simm card. I met people that obviously stole them and were reselling on Amazon saying the phone is on now etc. Amazon stats are useless as it is a zoo.
