China's largest mobile carrier is counting on Nokia to enable 700 million subscribers to have 3g connections on Lumias

China largest mobile carrier is counting on the partnership with Nokia to bring 3g devices (Lumia's) to it's current 700 million subscribers. Only around 70 million currently get 3g. Investors have been sidetracked with apple rumors of a deal with this same provider. Everyday there is another false rumor. Keep in mind that the lumia 920 has voice assisted gps that works with public transportation, walking or driving. The camera is the better than I phone and it has the Window 8 live tiles. The sales could be so staggering that the stock could jump $5.00 before you can even enter a buy order. Read the details. 700 Million Subscribers will see this incredible exciting device and there are 630 Million using some old #$%$ flip phone with no 3g internet. This could be the blowout of all blowouts. Meanwhile, everyone is missing it because all the press is saying Apple may be in talks and Apple may be building this and that. Nokia has the contract and may sell a 100 million phones before Apple has another "talk". Even if Apple shared the contract, if Nokia sold 350 million Lumia's would that not be good! ONCE AGAIN NOKIA HAS THE CONTRACT OR AS THE CHINA'S CARRIER SAY A PARTNERSHIP TO BRING 3G TO 700 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS. That is not an error they already have "700 Million Subscribers" and Nokia has a partnership and a hot phone with Microsoft and it's deep pockets backing them. Not sure why it is such a hard decision fund managers (700 million only 70 million currently have 3G). Punch it in to your calculators. You do not have to be that patient. If pre-sales are announced, waiting will kill you.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • It seems that this board is unusually concerned about moves of a few cents. This scenario is also possible. Do not take my advise as I only have done extensive research for myself. If you buy enough of this stock, it is the potential to make you a millionaire. There are a lot of stocks out there. This one is betting that Windows 8 will continue to partner with Nokia and that it will be the hottest phone and operating system worldwide. If so the stock will not be 10 it will be 200. It is not out of the ordinary. I was a Microsoft investor when the stock use to go up $1.00 - $4.00 per day. The only time it would go down is when the earning would come out and they would offer guidance. Then they were busy fighting the US Gov. and google and apple moved ahead. WIN8 is back with a vengeance. It is a better experience. That is my opinion. I love the experience, live tiles and the look and feel. So as long as Microsoft & Nokia remain partners owners of this stock have the opportunity to become millionaires. It will not happen with Rimm. Does anyone else feel the difference. It feels like Microsoft & Nokia will just keep rolling along and Microsoft will become the dominant operating system. If you hate it and feel the opposite short the stock. There are not many already Known stocks that have the capability of getting to the levels Nokia could reach. If Apple can get to 700 Nokia can get to 200. I see the international sales so large this year because of the W8 and great phones it could realistically take off.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Asha 200 has a dual simm and can do most of the things a smart phone can do just not the way someone in US would expect. It is however expanding the margins by filling the under $100.00 buyers that want to use their social networks, snap a photo, watch video even if they are not the best of experiences. You get what you pay for and the bottom line Nokia state the Asha models are profitable to make and they pack a lot of features into phones under $100.00. I am not talking about phone planes (prepaid Simm Where They Have To Buy The Phone Outright At No Discount) INTERNATIONAL MARKET PROFITS.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Closing and downsizing will add to upside earning revision not at the earnings announcement this month but next earnings. This stock has a history of trading sideways and most people that have been in it for a few months know you have to already be in when it moves. Add the saving in IT salaries now that IT comes from Microsoft + International Sales + China. If you can take sideways trading it has to move higher. There are always risks. Nokia & Microsoft appear to have a target on dominating in a big way.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • research options -01/18/2013 for down opening reason.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Microsoft says selling like hot cakes in China.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Greg Sullivan, Senior Marketing Manager at Microsoft, in an interview with Computerworld also delivering encouraging news.

He said Windows Phone 8 handsets were “selling like hotcakes in China,” and that the OS was also gaining success with Nokia’s Windows Phones in the U.S.
It seems that investors are being duped by the press. Get a calculator out and start punching in #s for percentages of 700 million. This stock is going to be one of those "I knew I should of bought more".
I honestly do not know what people are missing except that they are "drinking the coolaid" that is being poured on a daily basis.
Keep in mind analyst/journalists, the longer you keep this up the more foolish you will look in the end.

I still say imagine yourself in a courtroom trying to justify that you write numerous Apple is in talks with Chinas largest carrier stories and no story on Nokia WHO HAS THE CONTRACT. WAIT CHINAS CHINAS TOP GUY IN THE LARGEST CARRIER CALLS IT AN IMPORTANT PARTNERSHIP WITH NOKIA. 700 million subscribers SELLING LIKE F......in hot cakes. SWEET!

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • aint no lie, wen i mentioned the china mobile deal that nok got to someone i know that is veeery high up with apl.. lets just say, the communication stopped..

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I point this out because when the Apple get's China Mobile Go announcement comes that may cause an irrational selloff. There are 700 Million subscribers. No one company has the ability to make that many phones quickly. Therefore, even if that Apple announcement comes some day, a sell off would be irrational.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I was debating if I should give you a thumbs up, but your posting is pure wet dream. I agree that 70% don't have 3G but also the same 70% can't afford the monthly fee that will be charged by China Mobile for their service, yes Nokia and China Mobile will pick up and up-grade a lot of customers but it will not be 630 million as you wish. A lot of the customers have Samsung, HTC and other Mfg phones and they will not change to Nokia yet. I am hopping for 5% and this will generate a lot of Lumia sales. Good luck to all longs.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • Crooks would rather say this: "nokia slashes costs to increase performance" by wall st cheat #$%$, lol
It only eliminated 1100 positions. I can't wait for the day to hear these goons zip their mouth once and for all. It is coming. When nok delivers the goods to china mobile. crooks of wall st are being sandbagged, imo.
