Not trying to troll anyone but I really don't understand this.
I am a long NOK. I have also been monitering RIMM. While both are on an upward trend, why is RIMM going more up than NOK? NOK is the one that already has the product out and is getting good reviews and numbers so far. RIMM hasn't come up with a product a long time, and only has BB10, which doesn't come out for another week or so. So what's the deal with this? Is RIMM's upward price due more on speculation? Not that I'm bashing RIMM - I think the BB10 looks nice, but as I said, it's not even out yet! When NOK announced the new Lumias, its share didn't bounce as much as this.
Part of it is speculation also, of course. Apple and Android to this day, still have issues in the enterprise business world. The speculation will be that with BB10, RIM has now fixed his fundamental flaws against the iPhone while maintaining its previous advantages in security and email. This year will be a battle to the death between Windows Phone and RIM. I feel Windows Phone will win, assuming Microsoft continues to improve on WP8 and Nokia continues to release awesome hardware.
