It is NOT going to happen.
Nokia cannot compete with Samsung, Google-Motorola, HTC, Huawei, ZTE, LG, Sony, etc ..
The KEY to future success is DIFFERENTIATION.
The next OS is NOT Android -- it will be HTML5
Samsung OWNS the Android market. Elop was right, Sammy has the top to bottom vertical integration, they are becoming the DEFACTO Android OEM.
There is simply not enough people that know about Windows Phone. I have had my Lumia since Launch, honestly, the Apps are getting better. They just need to SELL MORE PHONES. Thats kinda hard to do when you A) Dont have a Flagship at VZW, and B) EVery rep at a carrier store simply tries to sell the iPhone5.
I kindof like the overall OS, but there is a lack of numerous apps. It is disconcerting. Sure, there are enough apps for what most people NEED. It just seems like everywhere you look, "try our app on your android, iphone or blackberry!" You never see Windows phone included.
