Today, Vodafone announced that it will offer some of its first Windows Phone 8 devices in the UK from February 6. The “army” of devices to be available both online and in physical stores include the Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620, and the HTC 8X and 8S.
Late? They have 2 months and 170 Million customers to sell new, cool, innovative phones to. That's plenty of time.
And besides, Nokia, like apple et al, counts phones shipped not phones sold so 2 months to not only fill that enormous Vodafone channel but to also get some actual sales throughout and fill the channel again to the desired inventory level for Q2.
Weekly commercial mail from Elgiganten today in Sweden as well. Telia is fronting Lumia 920 as their choice of premium phone for the second week in a row. €44 per month in 24 months gives you a black, white, red or yellow L920.
