    "BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins said it has no plans to compete with lower-cost phones at the $50 to $60 level. Struggling Canadian handset maker has recently released its new handset, Z10, but many analysts have questioned the strategy as Z10 is not priced competitively. For instance, BlackBerry began selling the Z10 unsubsidized in India last month at a cost of 43,490 INR ($800), counting on wealthier Indians to build buzz for the company’s new operating system. Such pricing has already brought up some complains in the Indian market. In a priced-sensitive market like India, launching a phone at this price is very challenging mostly because rivals such as Nokia and Samsung price tag for their flagship phone is less than BB’s Z10."...
