He took over Boston Chicken as CEO when it was hot, and a few years later under his watch, company went bankropt. The man lacks common sense. His excuse for going with Window phone was that he wanted to be diffrentiated from others, are you kidding, you have to read the lable to figure who is the manufaturer of the hardware, and there was no exclusivity. I sold most of my share. I lost hope specially when my Lumia 900 started acting up and my wife had to take hers in to be replaced, and after the recent report showing they are losing bad on feature phones.
Tell me.. how does a person with no common sense recognize someone with no common sense? There is no baseline to form any kind of basis for reality. It's simply not possible for someone with 0 common sense, you, to recognize common sense actions as that would take common sense capabilites of which you lack. Obviously, I'm not being sensible in thinking that this can possibly make sense to you. It's like you live in a 2D world oblivious to the 3rd dimension. By they way, the common sense action, based on your post and "experience" with the 900 would be to sell ALL of your shares. I've shown you the way, escape the bonds of your 2D world, dip your toe in the common sense pool and sell the rest of you shares and move on to a happier place.
Flopper was CIO at the chicken joint. He only lasted a year at Juniper but supposedly did some decent restructuring. He is probably more a cost cutter than a turnaround guy. Need a visionary to take the helm from here. Flopper has done all he knows how to do.
He's done wonders for NSN. 3 Q's of profits now, positive cash flow, -20k employees, some divestments, and only lost 5% YoY revenues (those higher revenues were at a net loss by the way).
there is a rumor the problem at Boston Chicken was elop never met a chicken he didn't eat
i really don't believe it
i think he did what he was brought in to do
just like here
now after you figure out what exactly his mission is, let me know
