FOR a large sum of money and a contract to keep making windows phones exclusively for MSFT.. All this talk about NOKIA getting completely out of the handset business is gibberish... I thought about this long and hard and finally made up my mind UP that no way will NOKIA abandon the handset business completely as suggested by many writers.. NOKIA has the best phones now and things are just getting heated up for MSFT and NOKIA.. Great partnerships equals great rewards for shareholders. This S&P downgrade is gibberish as well but could scare some into selling if we get a correction in price.
Are you not starting to feel it that ELOP new motto is FIRST never mind any other Place going forward. MSFT and NOKIA are getting aggressive and shareholders should be eating it up.
Do we really understand the margins and compass of the LTE build out. If they come up with Graphene solutions and sensors this could be a deciding factor to let MSFT take the phone business in China and the emerging markets. The Graphene parts are flexible, unbreakable, transparent, stronger, better cheaper, and the phones could have a game changing part in all electronics. I have read where graphic sensors are close. I don't think it could happen but, MSFT could have a heavy partnership investment to Graphene. JUST like TD-SCDMA Apple is late to the game- will they buy into NOK? They don't invent they buy.
I truly believe exactly that .. NO WAY NOKIA exits the smartphone business.. They just became the best at it with this 1020 flagship imo... Apple is now behind when it comes to innovation in my mind....Now how they market the best phone is pretty important more than ever to squash those Apple geeks..
