what's the worst PPS case scenario without warning?
Many bashers fail to acknowledge that there was no negative (or positive) warning. This narrows down the positive/negative range. The question is, if we meet guidance on the negative side, how will the PS be affected and while we are at it, how long would it take to come back up? Anyone?
Last quarter nok met expectations but was blind sided by a drop in feature phones. This gave shorts a nice pop.Now even with some unexpected news the downside is limited by the threat of a buyout.Guessing pps is usually a fools game but I would have to think 3.50 would be the limit.Conversely if everything goes well and no negative surprises, and good guidance, 5 would not be out of the question.Guidance will likely be the key this quarter.
If we are within range, I doubt Q2 results matter that much. Q3 and Q4 guidance will be key. Also, since L1020 pre-orders open on the 16th, I would expect NOK to say something if the market for the new device is strong. NSN (NN) cash flow, as well as Q3/Q4 phone sales increase, will be watched closely.
