Next week, investors will analyze Nokia's second quarter results of the company, to see if the company has enough cash to carry out a rescue plan, according to the company's chief executive, Stephen Elop, would take two years, but already entering the third year of implementation.

At the time, I bet Elop use Windows Phone, which at the time still had not even been tested. The measure, however, still need to pay, and there are no signs that Nokia devices can tackle smartphones from Samsung or Apple.

Market analysts expect the results to be presented on Thursday, showing a sharp drop in mobile phone sales, since consumers are migrating to smartphones, or even cheaper models produced by Asian competitors.

The weak market position of the Finnish company has generated itself speculation that the company could be acquired by another company, and these rumors intensified last month when a report stated that Nokia already had this kind of deal with Microsoft .

Moreover, the recent decision to buy Nokia Siemens' participation in the joint venture Nokia Siemens Networks to put further pressure on the company's balance sheet when the deal is finalized later this year.

In early July, the estimated net cash position of Nokia ranged between € 3.7 billion and € 4.2 billion, which implies that the company may have burned between € 300 million and € 800 million in the quarter
