This is typical for all phone makers. There is strength in the stock before the new model is launched, and then the stock fades at launch. Just ask an Apple investor. The days leading up to a launch are filled with hype and high hopes. The stock surges. Then the launch day arrives and investors watch the share price drop, wondering what the heck happened.
The stock has hovered around the 4 dollar level for awhile now. I think patience is in order. The way the market has gone up, I would rather have a more subdued NOK stock, so when the correction happens in the market, they may not get hit as much.
Well that's the problem as if NOK does not move up with the market that does not mean it will not take a hit when the market does. If it had moved up with the market it would have some space to give up. Now it does not. Also we could take some profits but there have not been much this year. MSFT has turned into an anchor.
