The exploding adoption of W8 & Wp8 just

makes all bashers look so stupid....and LIARS.

    • have to agree with RMBO, the numbers for W8 are not good. No intelligent IT manager of any company of any size is going to switch given the difficulty of the transition. Imagine 50, 100, 2000, 10000 or more employees walking into the office one morning and not even being able to figure out how to launch their normal work programs! It's a non-starter however after only a year MS finally has the updated version with the return of the start button.... what the heck took them so long! Now there might finally begin to be widespread enterprise adoption as the transition is made to W8 but last year was just lost time! We'll see. FYI I have no position in Nokia at this time.

      • the adaption has began....Any company run intelligently will not open their doors one morning with W8 OS on their system with out properly training their staff....Rmbo must have worked with a company that is run by a fool....Talked to a teenager using a surface at Macdonalds rest....He love the surface & even claimed he wanted to buy a Wphone after the contract, This kid know what he's talking about....

What the bashers are posting here must have a lot lesser IQ than this Kid...I watch this kid work with the surface flawlessly.

      • Is this a missing "start" button fault or average IQ of office workers ?

      • Windows 8 will be adopted by companies when it is certified to be rolled out, companies just dont willy nilly just roll out a new OS and tell eveyone to jump on it and start using it. Case in point, many companies run Windows 7 on their company networks, it took companies a while before this version became the standard supported OS by companies, and it could very well take a couple of years to get Windows 8 certified for use by companies, if it passes muster, then companies will adopt it or will stay with Windows 7 until Windows 8 professional edition is certified, just the way it is.

      • W8 trending higher...it has to happen. There's nothing else Windows companies will upgrade to. Period. And with that they'll switch from bberry to nokia.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I can tell you Lumia 520,620 and 925 are making a lot of noise, excitement in Europe. The same is true in India where Indians who have been flooded with substandard androids are discovering the true meaning of smart devices. The 520 will be running Samsung out of India in the next 2 quarters, it's the talk of India right now.The 925 is highly anticipated as well. What's helping windows smartphones is that India is microsoft country.Microsoft brand is highly held because India's tech intelligensia works for Microsoft and Indian smartphone buyers are first wave adopters in the country and have not been corrupted by other OSes. In short, windows, android and iOS are fighting at an equal playing field and Nokia was not late in the game in India at least, may me 6 months late but still better playing field than Europe and U.S.Right now, Nokia is winning the war in India.Samsung was the story until a handsome Bollywood actor named Lumia 520 showed up.

I would like to see Lumia 420 launched in the fall even if it will cannibalized Asha lines. If Nokia releases Asha 420 at 5000 rupees, Samsung will be run out of India and India's cheap android OEMs will go under.Nokia management is talking about out loud,so expect to see Lumia 420 in the coming months.420 and 520 will begin the early consolidation of smartphones, many cheap Asian android manufacturers will fold and go under. This is not theory,it's just a matter of when.We are in the early phase of consolidation.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • "Exploding adoption" of W8??? Where??? The numbers to date do not support this assertion. In fact, they're saying just the opposite. 

    • You can say that again. The best little phone that can replace a PC.
