It's a bad idea and I don't think it's going to happen, chiefly because NSN and ALU have completely different infrastructure tech and ecosystems...it would be a nightmare and unmitigated disaster to combine the two in any form. Nokia need to hunker down and concentrate on growing its businesses internally, look for smaller acquisitions that make sense, not get bogged down with another money loser just when its freed itself from the last one.
Why would they do that now when NOK shareholders haven't even voted for the MSFT acquisition? Getting way ahead of themselves. I know that companies need to be aggressive nowadays, because things change so quickly, let's wait.
I bought a few thousand as u know of alu based on this. when i told their board about it and the rumors i was hearing last month they all heckled me over there so i told em to stick it and to mark my post so i hope im right in a way but their debt is asattrocious as my spelling. So i hope nokia doesnt buy em. they are supposedly turning around though and getting a leg up on ultra high speed internet installs and tech. we'll see. That pos has never made money and now with a bunch of french union employees??? yikes me no likey but will play it for a pop.
