What dribble. You make one large false assumption with all Americans in debt $55,000.00 plus, #$%$ employment with part time, temps, low pay service and retail sector jobs making up most of the numbers. You cannot expand an economy with that kind of employment picture. See gas going up yet our govt. says no inflation. Now if you believe we ARE in la la land i need to smoke whatever you are having to enjoy insanity.
Not going bankrupt.
But if price goes under $1, IAG faces delisting.
Dividend probably gets cut or eliminated.
Hats off to all those board brainiacs who loved a higher dividend % compared to collapsing share price.
so what you're saying is I should buy more? Okay. doing it now.
Been around the block a long time and know that when the sharks send you high school drop outs to the message boards to feed the fear frenzy it's because they are buying as much as possible at all time lows. That's how the game works.
The only BOZO here is you.
It seems that you think that there is some part of the investing process that says after you buy a stock, you go to the message board and begin attacking/insulting anyone who says anything negative, making yourself out to be the person with all the knowledge - even though you just bought the stock and know next to nothing about the company or how the stock trades. Case in point - LRAD. How's that working out for you? Seems you have quite a bit to learn - and you did, the hard way.
You are just another sheep always being led to the slaughter. Always last to the party. Paying top dollar and allowing smart money to get out with profits. Maybe you'll eventually learn, but I doubt it. You just keep on doing what you do - again, smart money appreciates that you're last to the party and left holding the bag.
A reduction in force (RIF) is called for at this point. IAG can announce a 20% reduction (roughly 1,000 employees). That will get it through this rough patch. In the meantime they sold gold futures, which can either be bought back at lower prices, or they can deliver on those futures. Bankruptcy is possible, but it would be years out, not within a year. I personally believe world markets will crash hard, and people will realize the importance of physical gold backing (at least partially) a currency. Good luck, short man.
