Had to fly back home to Logan Airport from San Diego yesterday. When I was at San Diego Airport, I noticed a direct flight to Boston and was able to change my flight with no problem. My luggage, however, was already checked in and they made no attempt to pull it and put it on my new flight. What if I were a terrorist and my luggage had explosives on it? I understand that a small percentage of luggage gets check for explosives.
This is a huge problem. If I could do this, anyone could.
was "checked" once. I believe less than 10% of all checked luggage is screened for explosives. My point was this: a terrorist could blow up a plane and not become a martyr and get the 70 some odd virgins and rivers of honey.....
I believe the reason why only 10% of luggage is screened is due to time restraints and probably money. QS would solve the time restraints.
