Implant Sciences' Quantum Sniffers Protect Queen of England's Guests at British Embassy in Saudi Arabia
WILMINGTON, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/27/13 -- Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, today announced that its Quantum Sniffer™ QS-B220 desktop explosives trace detector and its Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 handheld explosives trace detector were deployed for checkpoint screening to protect the honored guests who attended the birthday celebration of England's Queen Elizabeth II at the British Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Implant Sciences' Bahrain-based distributor, Building Defence Systems (BDS), facilitated the screening.
The British Embassy, which hosts a large number of events and receptions requiring the screening of visitors, regarded the units as being cost-effective and easy to deploy. The Quantum Sniffers were rapidly transported and deployed due to their non-radioactive source.
