I had 26,000 shares back then
I am, bought 8000 shares at 0.90, and havent sold them yet. Lucky me.
I could lie and say I own 10,000 shares but... truth is I bought 400 at $9.25 way back when, and then bought another 1063 at $2.07. Of coarse it continued to fall, but I still feel good about it.It is in an IRA, so I won't have to pay taxes (currently) when I sell some. Waiting to see what the dividends will be first.I also bought KMP in the mid 40's and EPD in the lower 20's around the same time. Still own them all.I feel bad for people who sold entire portfolios back then like one of my co-workers did. He was nearing retirement and saw his savings crashing down around him. He cashed out at the very bottom.
I had 56,000 shares, mostly below $1.50 - including some at $0.85. I have been selling but think we will hit $25 in 2011.
I am, but my lowest cost was a bit higher at $1.49 - missed the $0.80.Sold most between $9 and $14, but kept enough to still have a meaningful position. Can't wait to calculate yield on invested capital after the divy is brought back.
And just when will the "divy" be brought back?
congrats to both of you!I didn't buy any that low, but I sure am glad that I resisted the temptation to sell.
