Disturbing news from Matt Powell's December report.
In response to the main points that were brought out:
1. Isn't it obvious before this report came out that the price points would be lower per unit? Aren't we kidding ourselves if we were to think otherwise? 2. Are you kidding? We derive market share based on one month's worth of data from a guy that thinks he knows the market based on projected data from sources that are unknown to the common man.. 3. We are more interested in the entire Quarter's worth of data. Can you provide that? 4. I would say that the %'s come out to 29.8% or roughly 30%. I would take a 30% sales gain every quarter.
In any case, the guy really seems to dislike Skechers by lumping them into this "Toning" category that now has a new "leader" in Reebok. I mean, seriously? Do we actually think Reebok is the King of Toning?
