The Mali GPU, and ARM's 5-year strategy to dominate visual computing

So, Mali processors are not the high end compared to Nvidia's, Qualcomm's and others? If so, would there be a market for Mali in the future when high end competirors will lover the prices to capture Mali's market space? In addition, it appears, ARM is competing with its own partners.

In some respects Mail is competing with the graphics cores that Nvidia and Qualcomm use but Mali is really aimed at firms without their own custom graphics IP.

I've always been cynical about Mali, but looks like I will be wrong. It's uptake has been strong and it's helping ARM get into DTV and STB slots.

The other thing I was wrong over is how good Mali is. Turns out the the Mali 400 can compete with Nvidia's Tegra 2 (for example.)
