    MLHR a buy?

Overview of MLHR, mainly from a competitive perspective. The site researches stocks on Joel Greenblatt's "Magic Formula" screen.

    • how about a nice sharpened stick in the eye instead?

how is a good sharp stick better than miller stock?

the value of a sharp stick does not continue to decline over time...leaving one to ponder the inevitable question...who DOES want/need to buy a $1,600 office chair in these times of rude economic realities?

sheeeiiittt...this stock aint even worth shorting

    • Well, it looks like HNI is a better buy. At the close of market today, HNI regained the #1 valuation in the industry.

Nevermind that the industry had dramatically lower orders in November; HNI is persistently sticking to its forecast of modest sales declines for 4Q2008 and 1Q2009. The guidance given to the analysts is much better than MLHR's or SCS's guidance. And, HNI has not even disclosed any layoffs. All of this points to some dramatically great earnings report in Feb.

When the HNI annual meeting rolls around next spring the management team will be basking in glory.

(now please stop the shock treatments)
