    SoftBank's Comment on SoftBank-Sprint Transaction

    SoftBank believes that the agreed terms of our transaction with Sprint offer Sprint shareholders superior short and long term benefits to DISH's highly conditional preliminary proposal. The SoftBank-Sprint transaction is in the advanced stages of receiving the necessary approvals and we expect to consummate the transaction on July 1, 2013 with the terms already agreed.

    • DISH's bid for S just might be a great deal for DISH, if they can afford the cost. DISH is bent on entering the wireless game. Spectrum is the big thing. Just think, taking over S puts DISH in the wireless game big time. They own CLWR that has a zillion dollars worth of spectrum.
      Taking over S and run efficiently may make DISH another zillion. I think it is a good deal.
