Obama: Higher Taxes, More Spending, No Debt Limit, No Compromises

It shouldn't matter WHO you voted for... you CAN'T be liking what we're seeing now.

"Candidate" Obama campaigned as "fair and balanced"...

... and look what we're GETTING... anything BUT fair-and-balanced.

    This is NAUSEATING!

    • Yes, you are nauseating fascist #$%$. Get back to work on your Coulter polishing.

    • Regardless of what either side is offering... Obama has stated that his demand that congress relinquish their power to raise the debt ceiling is non-negotiable.

As long as Obama demands that Congress give up such a checks-and-balances power, the talks will go nowhere. The republicans are no more likely to allow that than the democrats would have 5 or 6 years ago if Bush would have been enough of an idiot to propose something like that.

THAT is what is holding these negotiations hostage... power-grab demands by Obama that essentially stone-wall EVERYTHING.

As I've said, Obama is the polar opposite of Bill Clinton, who was an excellent president and bargained productively in good faith with congress...

... whereas Obama is proving over and over that he can't lead and can't govern... he's absolutely the WORST president of the modern era.

      Spok

dear ignoramus, fyi the debt ceiling is about PAYING EXISTING DEBT.
and if the gop doesn't want to pay existing debt they should stop signing off on spending.
you do sound like the kind of person who does not want to pay your bills.
