Putin's boy Snowdon a hit with wingnuts

""There is no such thing as a former KGB man," as Russian President (and former KGB man) Vladimir Putin famously said, which may help explain the concentration of political power in its successor the FSB, the official intimidation of nongovernmental organizations, and the systematic assassination of journalists and others critical of the regime. Not to mention all the spies in the U.S."

    • Left wingnuts or right ones? need to be more specific. And I've noticed the right is not in lockstep in their attitures towards Snowden. Some say traitor, some say he did a service for exposing corrupt Obama admin.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • wingnut.... either side as I made clear by reminding that the left has ALWAYS been AGAINST the patriot act and this kind of surveillance........ the right was 100% all for it...... neither fox nor the right complained of the bush era of illegal warrantless surveillance from 2001-2007..... .......and right nearly every US congressman dem and pub has pointed out that Prism and the current NSA are perfectly legal and that Americans are not being spied on................ moderates can understand that in war perhaps for the good of all the NSA should be allowed to search the METADATA...... get it? that is what they are doing.... even the rightwing WSJ has said they agree that this is legal and necessary..........and the fact is Snowden IS a traitor and a criminal, he has stolen classified info and given to the press and to our enemies and has defected to Russia........and I don't care if "some say he did a service for exposing '................... you are an ajole for even saying that and you must be so stupid that you don't know that EVERYTHING he 'exposed' was going on in the BUSh admin, prism began in 2007: "This is nothing particularly new," Sen. Chambliss, ranking Republican of the Intelligence Committee said, "this has been going on for seven years under the auspices of the FISA authority and ever member of the United States Senate has been advised of this." I guess you think the republicans are in on the "corrupt Obama admin."..... you lying #$%$.

    • The Pentagon on Tuesday toasted gays in the military, with a top adviser to President Obama declaring the country is “safer” now that homosexuals may serve openly.

“Because we repealed ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ our military is gayer and is stronger and our country is safer, more equal and more just,” said Valerie Jarrett, the keynote speaker at the Pentagon’s gay pride celebration.

    • Righties are on a roll with their new found love for Putin and Putin's boy snowden.......
at least the lefty wing nuts were against the patriot act from day one..... the righties were all for it even when it was revealed by whisleblowers (who didn't defect to Russia) .....that bush was doing illegal warrantless wire tapping from 2001 -2007.... and running prism which began in 2007.
