"We have strong unions, we have strong social security systems, we have high wages."
Horst Mund, an IG Metall executive
Here we have a race to the bottom where the "job creators" pay less and less, and ship more and more jobs overseas, and they pay less taxes and they are rolling in increased profits. They don't need to do more hiring, creating jobs is not their job.
and oddly enough many corporations abroad pay their workers more and are very profitable.... mcdonald's in Australia pays nearly $15 an hour. wal mart in Canada pays over $10 an hr...... but in the USA they lobby to maintain the $8 min wage...... the gop is all for making sure there are few jobs and that jobs don't pay much, because THEY represent the rich who are getting richer by taking more and making sure the middleclass make less
If American Labor BOSSES, and their Democrat backers, didn't thrive on Destroying companies while Protecting goofballs and stupid work rules... if they actually tried to help make the companies better, more efficient and more productive, the union dominated auto plants in America might be just as productive as the non-union plants, but they're not even close!
That's why all US, Japanese and German companies are putting their plants in right-to-work states or in other
American Unions are a death knell to all companies that are stuck with them!
That's it. I'm moving there tomorrow. My neighbor has a daughter there and visited the country. Came back mystified that people have to live their lives in fear of saying the wrong thing, let alone doing anything wrong.
