I would think the research at Arrowhead continues but won't they need the FDA to open at some point?
I don't pretend to know the steps for drug approval but maybe to start a Phase II trial? Is the shutdown causing unfortunate delays for ARWR?
BELIEVE me that after the results of Ph I are known, IT WILL TAKE A FULL YEAR to move it forward for more positive information about a PH 2. I've been in this business over 35 years and I have been in companies like this that took over 9 months JUST GET a meeting with the FDA to set Protocol for the next phase. WHY do you think it takes an average of over 10 YEARS to get a new drug approved. Each phase can take many years and the waiting in between is exasperating. I LOVE the opportunities this process awards us with. This type of hype always move stocks to extremes in BOTH DIRECTIONS. I play the middle and build a FREE position in the ones I like by going in and out and keeping the FREE stock I earn via profits. KEEP your Risk Capital Nimble and Safe. I've sold off enough to get my money back and kept a nice position if it runs with good news. If it get ahead of itself with the LONG time table between events, the stock will settle down and then RELOAD!!!
You are misinformed. And sound like you're hoping it drops so you can get back in. FDA is in the backseat now, as they execute their clinical trials outside US. With excellent chances for efficacy demonstration in first half of 2014, if not sooner. Your "ADVICE" to others sounds self-serving.
