Really?! I have to hand it to all those shorters out there, you've got balls! I don't know how I could be so calm being short a stock that is about to announce an official date for their first flight of new CSeries planes. I mean those who think that the price is just going to move up the actual day of the first flight are going to be in for a very rude awakening the morning they announce there will be no more delays.
Well, that's just what any short position is waiting for, a delay in the test flight. If there's another delay announced, you'll see the stock tank back down to the $3.75-$3.80 level, at which point shorts will cover.
I've been saying this forever it seems, the entire stock price is predicated on the inaugural flight date occurring by end June. The only other thing that's truly going to move this stock is a significant C-Series order.
Blurts doesn't get it that the Porter "purchase" adds no new anticipated money and is not a new deal, but just a reveal of the customer identity.
