iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond Message Board

TLT should be tanking based on today's data

The bond bubble will burst. It may not happen immediately but it will happen. The Fed can only do QE for so long. They are not going to let the balance sheet grow beyond $4 trillion.

    • You come here everyday and post the same message. Why? The banks are choking on all the sky high equities they have bought, the hedge funds al fully invested on leverage, and a nice correction is around the corner. There have been equity outflows the last twoo weeks, and bond inflows. This is setting up like last year. Tlt will go into the 120's with any kind of correction.

      • I think equities will fall but that does not mean they will use TLT as a hedge. It just doesn't make sense to have treasury yields so low when there is a housing recovery and house prices are moving up. Any sign of inflation, TLT can easily fall 20%. Jan-Mar is when inflows come into the market. When they stop coming and nobody is interested in TLT as a hedge, who is going to buy TLT?
