Why would an area manager or any manager be allowed to treat his/her people in a manner that is directly opposite of the Company way of doing things? Its almost as if the rules only apply when convenient. Treat people right, and they will work well for you. Do them wrong, and they might still be working there, just against you all the way. Is it too much to expect honesty from managers as they move up the ladder? What happens to them as soon as they get a set of car keys? Why do they all of a sudden forget how to answer yes or no to a simple question if they answer at all.
