    Interesting Read Posted 6/07 #3

In May 2006, when Steve Davis took over Mike Thompson sent out evaluation schedules for his trip to Florida. I informed him that I would be out of state for my daughters High School graduation that week and he replied to me on e-mail that we would find time to do it when I was at the corporate office for the quarterly Area Director Meeting on May 11, 2006. At our region meeting prior to the general assembly Mike Thompson told us not to ask anyone questions at the corporate office because tensions were high. At the end of the general assembly, I walked up to Mike and said, “would you like me to meet you back in your office?” and he replied I quote “I am not doing any fucking one on one’s! Your performance was outstanding! And your bonus is whatever you sent me! How’s that!” Having had a great year and having that said to me was just another demoralizing, demotivating example of not being appreciated for your hard work and efforts. I never received a one on one, just a copy of my evaluation to sign and send back to Mike Thompson.
During Ramon Maza’s employment in Florida as an Area Director it was evident and confirmed by Ramon Maza that Mike Thompson would come in to town and they would go to dinner at expensive restaurants, buy expensive bottles of wine, and after Mike had three glasses of wine, he began giving information well in advance of the rest of the Area Director group. Ramon Maza was held to different standards than the rest of the Area Director Group
