Brand Builders -- looks good on paper

Cut the menu in half and cut prices by 10% for a start. Take the hard medicine now, or as you post, sales will continue to decline and the "Yum Boys" will be on the unemployment line.

    • It appears that they have slowed the growth to nearly zero! Then the stores in Dayton (public announcement) are slated for remodel! It's the food ,the service, and the price value boys. It's not the building!!! Watch Diners, Drive-ins and Dives...buildings aren't so great but food and service are top notch. You shouldn't have to tell the public that you are remodeling..you do it every day quitely...keep the buildings ship shape!!!

      • I wish I could understand these financials better. I am not an accountant.

Looking at the first 3 Q's of the year, it looks like they have generated Operating Income in the range of 60 million-plus.

They say they will still hit 108 to 112 million by year's end. Which means they need to achieve 40 to 50 million dollars in the 4th and final Q.

If that's true, it means the Operating Income generated in Q4 is equal to between 60% and 80% of the total Operating Income they generated in the first three quarters combined.

I am not an owner, but I would say I would need to load up the truck if they can truly hit that mark in the last 3 months.

If anyone can shed some light on my faulty math, please help me understand.

    • In the recent posts most posters continue to refer to the "Yum Boys". Who are the "Yum Boys" Is this just a bashers term or do they have names etc etc?
