$1 up a $1 down. This is consistent behavior over the past year, with a high just over $6.
The question is this, what has changed. Monster has been selling assets, to do what? Buy more stock. is this really valued higher when Monster has been on a on-going purchase every quarter. The truth is that is should have a higher stock price because management has continued to use it's cash to buy more stock.
Are there new products and services? No
Are they taking advantage of Social Media? Not so much
Has the management team or Board done anything to increase shareholder value? No
Is the management team paid crazy number for performance? Yes
The underlying issue is that Monster is stuck in the old way of chasing candidates. Until they adjust the product set, set a new strategy, have a sales team that can offer real solutions, the stock price will be flat. Sal and team do not know what to do, they they are squeezing this rock for everything that they can get out of it for themselves.
Take the $1 up, as it will turn back towards $4 again soon.
I am looking for between 9 and 10 but lets get to 8 first. looks like right now there is some resistence above 7.82! the price bounced back into the lower 7.70s after reaching this level with stocastic where they are it time to use caution. as there could be a pull back at any time.
