Also after FDA approval we have a second possible scenario wich is Ironwood that could be interested in acquiring the company VTUS (very cheap and very interesting company) to be more attractive for a big buyout. Who knows ?

I have been watching IRWD for months now, waiting and waiting for the short hedgies to take their toll. This morning, I finally dipped my toes in and bought a bit. Way oversold, but the chart pattern still looks awful. I have cash in reserve to buy more should they take it back to the 52 week low (for no good reason). I think linaclotide has a good chance of being approved and if approved could become a blockbuster. I have watched all the investor presentations on the website and read the studies. I missed SLXP before it began its big run and don't want to miss this one too. I consider the product by the competitor SGYP to be at least 1-2 years down the road before possible approval. By that time, linaclotide could well have market share or be bought outright by Forest. Any counter thoughts? I would like to hear everyone's point of view.
