Trin... dung can be used as a bio-fuel! My question is simple... what's PTN worth in an acquisition? Share price is 60 pennies now... what is the buyout price? Surely their research and patented molecules are worth something. So if Spana threw in the towel and sold out, how much could we expect to receive for our shares?
These insignificant purchases are strange to me. On one hand they are of almost no value, and on the other hand there has been a broad base of purchases. There are really only a couple outcomes and reasons for the purchases. Either they believe the stock is going up, or they are engaging in a widespread attempt to attract interest to the stock. If they believe its going up, then what would be the reason to purchase so few shares? Is it because they have no money(which is doubtful)? Or maybe it's because large purchases may garner insider trading attention.
In any case, there does seem to be a large accumulator and seller out there. Will be interesting to see how the EOP2 meeting goes.
