Folks here have a way of ignoring macro-economic events, such as the resolution of the stand-off over tax rates in Congress that led to big market gains on Monday and Wednesday. Imos itself has strong resistance at $12/share.
Not a lot of interesting news to discuss lately. Very low volume most of the days. Next week the December numbers for various customers will start rolling in. Most of the action will be likely to come in February and March.
I said this at the time of the 10.10 share placement.there will be a lot of shares traded between 12 and 13.Perfect chance for management to buy back a lot of shares. They will not for reason's only known to them. The only near term catalyst are the Dec number's and coverage by Cowen. Till then this dog don't hunt.Cheer's.
Sean- As someone [reliable] has posted- Cowen is coming on board wiht coverage in February [not all that far away] and as you know all sorts of things are in the works and will be reported in due course [also not that far off in the future]. If you have hung that long with IMOS another couple of months will not be that bad. I am expecting news of the ESM listing which should generate excitment in Taiwan if nowhere else. I await what I expect to be good news.
