      • Makeadime,
sorry you are so upset. I don't waste time recommending my own posts. I have posted countless times on this board over many months and clearly I have no history of pumping my own posts. The vast majority of my posts don't get any recommendations (which is fine.) But it makes me feel pretty good when many people show their appreciation by recommending my posts or just posting a word of thanks like one person did on the GMXR board already.

If you check my sitemeter at ARD blog you will see that there have been over 45 unique visitors today so far...and climbing. Clearly there are a lot of people reading what I have to say and if 9 people recommend my post I am very appreciative.

Clearly there are a lot of people reading my blog:

Clearly these UNIQUE visitors are reading my blog not only from all over the the USA but from all over the WORLD.

I'm sorry you are so hostile towards my blog post about GMXR valuation. Sorry you disagree with my logical STEP BY STEP analysis with a final GMXR value of only $17 per share. Sorry you disagree with my STEP BY STEP analysis of ARD. Sorry you disagree with my final ARD value of over $58 per share (Keep in mind the $58 is CONSERVATIVE because I assumed that ARD and GMXR will each produce the same amount of BOE. Remember analysts project ARD to pump out 11% more BOE. Also keep in mind that ARD is the better company from top to bottom, higher earnings growth, better mgmt team and deserves a HIGHER MULTIPLE than GMXR. IN the analysis I gave BOTH companies the SAME pe of 25. Clearly ARD deserves a much higher PE than GMXR.)

Anyway...don't mean to offend. I just chose to educate. The post will be on my blog this time next year. Lets check back and see if I was right or wrong.

        Best of Luck.

        Dok

    • Your blog walked me through step by step as to why you believe GMXR fair value is $17 and why ARD fair value is $58 based on current prices of oil and gas.

I appreciate all the effort you took to put the post together with all the links and research.

      Thanks again!

I would encourage every GMXR shareholder on this board to take 5-10 minutes of your time to read Dok's blog especially his most recent post about "how to value GMXR and ARD."

      Thanks again!

On peak days when I post new info I have had upwards of over 190 unique visitors in a single day.

It is an ARD information warehouse. It has all the links that I frequently click on when I am on the road or even at home. I wouldn't have even started the blog if the investment potential wasn't so compelling. What really gets me to shake my head is when I see other oil and gas companies like GMXR that are valued at a premium to ARD. I just want to raise the red flag when situations like this occur and to point out the discrepancies. I want to educate and present the facts. Also by archiving my thoughts we can go back in time and see if I was right or wrong...

        Just remember: "Knowledge is power."

Take care and again thanks for the compliment!

      • I almost forgot to mention that your blog DID influence my decision NOT to invest in GMXR at this time even though it is over 40% off its 52 week highs.

I just feel that your blog is very logical and common sense and you make an extremely compelling (as you like to say) case to avoid GMXR and and extremely compelling case to consider buying into ARD at current prices.

While I have decided to AVOID GMXR at this time I have also decided to do further research into ARD and take a closer look at that company. I'll be requesting an investor kit from ARD I.R. and when I through doing my D.D. I"ll make a final determination. I hope to make a buy decision sometime next week. I"ll definetly use this weekend to read over some recent SEC filings like the 10K and 10Q as well as the press releases on the ARD website.

From doing my 2 minute drill I feel like ARD is a winner...but as soon as I finish the D.D. I"ll feel ready to make a final decision.

Thanks again for bringing the GMXR/ARD valuation controversy to my attention and I am grateful for not buying GMXR! All the research says it is a buy based on reserves etc, etc, etc. but none of the analysts actually delve into GMXR's actual day to day operation and their business of PRODUCING GAS.

Anyway, enough of my diatribe...just want to express my thanks and give you an "'at a boy!"

Many damaged Gulf oil rigs won't be repaired

      Reuters News Service

WASHINGTON -- Much of the oil and natural gas production still shut-in after last year's hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico will stay offline because it would not be economical for companies to rebuild the production platforms, Energy Secretary Sam Bodman told Congress today.

About 255,000 barrels per day in crude oil production and 400 million cubic feet of natural gas output is expected to still be offline in the Gulf of Mexico at the June 1 start date of the 2006 hurricane season, according to the government. That represents 17 percent of pre-hurricane daily Gulf oil production and 4 percent of gas output.

"By and large those production platforms that are out are not going to be put back because it's not economically desirable to reinvest to put those facilities back in place," Bodman told the House Energy and Commerce Committee during a hearing on the Energy Department's proposed 2007 budget.
