Same thing going on at Catalent in Florida, the former Cardinal Health plant, violations were sited in November, should be made public soon. Sounds more a Cardinal Health Policy and not just an isolated incident.
Honestly, I attribute this all to Mike Duffy, the relatively new Operations guy who's busy reorganizing every single facet of distribution. I think he came over from Gillette. Looks like its going as well as the Customer Service transition, which was a disaster!! Guess he hasn't figured out the difference between a controlled substance and razor blades and batteries.
Mike duffy might be the new guy, but this customer of Cardinal is going to Mckesson. We got dropped from all control drug ordering today, with no questions asked, or request for information. We are the only Pharmacy in town that will provide 24 hr 365 day a year coverage, and the chains will not carry the medication for the chronic pain patients. We are no internet pharmacy or illegal, The DEA said clean up Cardinal's act or we will do it, and Cardinal selected our Pharmacy with no investigation or asking us why a highest volume store in town is buying a high volume of Class drugs. Just a Phone call in the afternoon, when all of Dublin had gone home, by the sales manager. A very poor poor way to do business, Sell your Cardinal
