I've watched this clip about 4 times and I just don't see it the same way. He says he can't comment because he's doing business with the bank. They're his bank. He then talks about how politicians have made positive comments about their banks just to get favorable loan rates. He mentions Countrywide. He's conerned about an ethics problem not the state of the bank. He conducting some sort of business with them and doesn't want to make positve comments which could be construed as pandering to the bank just to get some favorable treatment. And besides why would he do business with a bank that he thought was bad. But that's just my opinion.
