I agree it's better for TLF to have a special dividend versus a regular one. I am curious to see if they continue a special dividend policy this year or next.
If they don't pay one this year I'll probably start slowly reducing my position. I do think that if they're going to occasionally pay a special dividend that they should state so publicly.
The only dividend paid so far carried the term "special one-time dividend". It makes me think that a dividend may only occur sporatically. Perhaps a stock buyback versus a special dividend would be better for the long term.
