    "It's the economy stupid!"

Just some thoughts from a Mo investor!
    1) Mo returns 40%+ on equity.
    2) It is the proud owner of the world's most valuable brand.
    3) Domestically it's eating everyone elses lunch. 50+ market share.
    4) Kraft is also nothing to sneeze at.
    5) historically it has paid 4-5% dividends.
6)It is agressively buying back stock.
    7) Its slogan "I came I saw I conquered" is more of a marketing plan worldwide than a slogan.
    8) It can raise price at will.
    9) Its executives are paid more realistic salaries than many other corporate execs.
    10) its last 12 months performance is up 33%
    11) The government closing down this industry is as likely as Disney killing Mickey Mouse. The Government via excise taxes is the largest beneficiary of tobacco sales.
    12) Barriers to entry aren't high they're IMPOSSIBLE!
    13) The Chinese love Marlboros!
14)Miller is doing just fine...Thank you very much!

    • PM not only dominates it dictates to RJR LORRILARD all aspects of tobacco usage.From the farmer in the USand worldwide;
price, production, etc. to the retailer even foreign competitors.PM is destroying the japan tob. monopoly and other cig
manufactors. After the settlement PM will run lorrilard and RJR out of business.Only BW will survive to compete.Right now I think PM needs the
others to take their bite of the poison pie then it will eliminate them. The first bullet is Marlboro Ultra Lights....It will take a
big bite out of RJR"s Vantage brands. Then after settlement it will lower prices and the others will fall.
