CREE is the king of chips for LED lights followed by LEDS.
EFOI and RVLT compete in LED lamp making -- who has the better technology?
EFOI says their LED lamps prodice 118 lumens which is higher than RVLT 112 lumens. For those who are the gurus of this industry -- are EFOI LED lamps better than RVLT? Are EFOI and RVLT worth buying?
Thats like saying which chip is better. You have different platforms-mobile , cell, tablet, work, gaming, auto, industry, commercial products and the like..... The lighting industry is huge and all ranges of wattage in needed. Different conditions and lighting styles for street lighting to industrial security all take different bulbs. Colored lighting to fog lights.
I think both RVLT and EFOI are talking about their T8 led lamps. One assumes that the 118 lumens by EFOI is competing with RVLT 112 lumens when it comes to T8. take a look at EFOI last quarter report where the CEO says "In our fourth quarter we introduced our new multi-LED tube lamp. This LED lamp is designed to replace linear fluorescent lamps and is best-in-class, achieving 118 lumens per watt." from 4th quarter report out 3/27/13
Then take a look at RVLT product announced on 3/25/13 where they say "The new Seesmart tube light produces a measured efficacy of 112 lumens per watt"
