electric cars proliferate fast, will get more efficient and will need to recharge in remote places, also, doesn't it sound real cool to run completely clean and green??
Evidently you are completely unaware of the abundance of cheap natural gas in the U.S. and its very negative effect on the Solar business in this country, it's still too expensive.
I would rather bet on nuclear reactors than natural gas, in that case. Still, solar energy is the cheapest if production costs near zero.
In 20 years the low conversion factor will be laughable. If doubled, grid parity is a mute point.
