18 million shares shorted need to buy to cover, each day will be an up day regardless of the general market index. Institutions and individual investors are accumulating due to raised guidance by fslr. Revenue of $4-5 billions/yr for the next 3 years is alot to look forward to. Risk is minimal given that fslr is profitting every quarter, and has a billion in cash. Shorts have no option but to buy and cover and walk this back up to $300.
Massive fuels to this uptrend will be the contracts announcement, expecting 10-30% pop every contract, depending on the size..
Selling at just an 8 p/e ratio on the high end of 2015 guidance, which may well turn out to be low. FSLR says $4-6 eps in 2015. If it's $6 eps, then it's an 8 p/e ratio. If it turns out to be $9 eps, with p/e multiple expansion to a proper level of say 30 p/e ratio you are looking at $270 share price in 2015.
