They'll use this new money to buy up quality struggling projects to maintain or boost their pipeline since
they anticipate delays in other ongoing projects. The fact that they reafirmed their earnings estimates and revenues is good enough for me.
I also have a theory behind the second offering and how it was managed and it's pretty much inline with other posters' comments regarding GS's involvement with dual purpose; they coordinated and will handle the deal while providing their money making accouts a way to cover their long held short positions. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if GS was the one that suggested the deal. I still see the share price over 50 given the small dilution of the 8.5 million shares. This small amount of shares can be bought up in less than a day or two.
