If they buy out a few more banks they will have the New England market all to themself. Getting the VT, Mass and RI market was a good first step for the expansion.

Dozens of motion picture studios have been shooting films in the State. There are rumors that they are looking for places to build studios and post production facilities.

Major studios came to the State when they created a 30% tax credit for the film industry. It not only lets them take the credit but they can transfer or sell the credits to other companies. Since the law went into effect dozens of movies have been shot in the State including Steven Segal in Marker, Speilberg's Indiana Jones, Universal studios, and films.

Dream Works is shooting "Revolutionary Road" in Trumbull with Titanic star Leanardo DiCaprio and another movie "Sisterhood 2" is being shot in Bridgeport at one of People's United buildings on State Street.

So who knows what they have in the works. Movies?
