Corporate Plane ???
Does the President really need a corporate plane?
I guess he needs it to commute to his Vermont home.
He should move to CT instead of renting here and keeping his permanent home in Vermont.-
The last CEO commuted from California.

I've heard that it is very expensive to live in Connecticut.

It depends. Real Estate in Fairfield County ( "Gold Coast") is expensive.
On the otherhand real estate in Waterbury and Torrington for example are reasonable.
Taxes including state income tax are high . Mass and NY are worse.
