Sold 40 contracts at 70 cents.
That's $2800 from my initial $2500 investment, so I'm in the black no matter what, free to let the other 80 contracts run for the 10 bagger.
Have a great day! :-)
If you're still interested in this, I took some of my SNTA proceeds and put them into some short-term out-of-the-money YHOO calls. The market is acting goofy but, if you can't beat them, join them...
I actually made a double on the puts I purchased on dsco...the day following their drug approval (though it was not alot of money and it wasn't my idea to short it). I am considering buying biotech stocks that I believe will have momentum into ASCO.
Congratulations! Shorting Biotech seems to be a winning move these days...wish I had done so with ONTY!
I chickened out of selling AAPL puts...just not worth the stress.
Waiting to see how the Greece thing plays out (nothing Synta related will move Synta in the next week...) to see what I do next. If it ventures too far above the 200 EMA, that's probably when I'll wave the white flag; otherwise, I'd like to see it fall to at least $3.60 before options expiration. I do not plan to let the option kick in and actually short the stock.
Congratulations, now I am reporting you to the SEC for insider trading...lol. I made a nice double (lucky) by going long the April $5 Puts on DSCO by purchasing them right at the morning when they were at the cheapest becuase DSCO opened at the high of the day which was above $5 and the IV plunged since FDA approved the drug. How long do you plan on staying short snta? Do you have any other biotechs on your radar?
For someone that makes so much money in the market, your posts are quite desperate. Sort of like what happened today you got quite desperate and you caved in especially after all that trash talking over the last few days. Wow hope some did not sell on your trash talk.
You have lost money through dilution. The percentage of the company that you own now is much smaller than it was at the time that you bought your shares.
If imaginary money makes you so happy, I'll send you the $500 bills from the Monopoly game in my closet.
Well, you tried to make me feel bad about wussing out, but ultimately it was the right call.
So lizdan is wrong. Don't do what you feel, do what the data tells you to do.
Hopefully Synta shoots over $6 soon, so I can buy some new puts.
