    Buying opportunity

It seems to me that the recent weakness and decline in price represents a terrific buying opportunity. We are now below the secondary offering price . Without any apparent negative news, it would appearIMHO that people are disappointed in the lack of news of any financial alliance or partnership arrangement. I think will get around to a deal when it best suits them and we have significant news to drive the price up. Remember who has the biggest piece of our company and he took the lion's share of the secondary. Good time to add to your position.

    • I was right. :-)

    • I think the current price - sitting at the offering, is an excellent value. It's also where much of the insider buying took place.

    • Now that is an example of a great post
(((( We will see who is right, ))))

Are you right, Are we right.

    • We will see who is right, taking a renewed discussion after Galaxy.

    • I appreciate the posts hail provides; they offer a balanced difference of opinion to this board's many cheerleaders. As far as the developing consensus here that Synta’s low stock price is because the market has not taken notice, do you really believe that, or, may the investment world sees Synta’s potential far differently than you? Those that think we have the next Erbitux on our hands should do a reality check. Something is amiss with this stock. We can look forward to more dilution, continued trials and cash burn. While STA-9090 holds some promise for certain patient subsets, I do not see STA-9090 as the next Gleevec, which was halted during trials and fast tracked. As a cautionary note, look at the fortunes of Discovery Labs (DSCO) shareholders after DSCO recently received FDA approval for Surfaxin. I am a long investor in SNTA but only in the “mad money” sense of betting the 30-1 horse at the track. The odds are long, the investment small, and the thrill lies in what may be.

    • I was referring to the "collective depression that defies logic" that ving mentioned.

The world as a whole is pretty much bankrupt, with everyone living on the empty promises of each other.

    • Everything under 10 usd is a buying opportunity of a lifettime, 10 to 20 bill is a reasonable buy out price, if proven potential is to be considered.
Ganetespibs potential is enormous, let there be no doubt.

    • "Remember who has the biggest piece of our company and he took the lion's share of the secondary"

      ...because nobody else would.

I'd wait for the next offering (which could well come before the end of the year) if you want a "buying opportunity"

      • Why and I really am asking why do you Hail continue to trash this Company. Can't you for once be happy for others that have a different opinion than yours. We all understand that you do not like this stock. Its actually pathetic that you keep posting on this board. You have to be the loneliest person that I have had the opportunity of coming across.

I have lost a good amount of money on some stocks, and have made a huge amount of money on other stocks. All of these stocks I am talking about have had posters like you telling everyone there dislike of the stock. If I had always listened to those that did not like the stock I would of sold and my huge amount of profits would never have been there. My point is unless you really have some significant information about SNTA that could really help investors then by all means let us know. But just to voice out something that you feel yes JUST feel. I just don't understand people like you. I do have respect for you as you have made some good decisions based on what you FEEL, But let's face it, it was from what you felt, not what you 100% knew. The stocks that I have been very successful with were also stocks that I felt would do good, I did not know 100%. No one knows 100%. I guess the whole reason for this post is do what you feel, let others do what they feel. Yes post all you want but there is no reason to be so negative when its just how you feel. Think about it am I right, are you right, who's right, it all comes down to the way you FEEL.
